We are looking for talented interns to join us for our2022 Summer Internship program at our Corporate offices in San Diego, CA.You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained valuableexperience in renewable energies.
Scope of Job:
This Solar Engineering Innovation internship position willassist the Solar Innovation Manager in improving in-house solar engineering software applications and integrate them into a major digital transformation initiative
Qualifications:
Education/Experience -
*Graduate or Undergraduate Degree inEngineering, Computer Science, Statistics*Eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship.*Available for full time hours.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -
*Ability to learn quickly
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills*Strong analytical and research skills*Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word*Programming with Python, databases and SQL, git a plus*Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimum supervision*Entrepreneurial, energetic, and flexible personality with a bias towards action*Possess strong analytical and research skills*Able to learn quickly*Skilled in interpersonal relationships with strong communication skills*Interested in growing a career in the renewable energy market.
Physical Requirements:None specifically besides sitting at a desk or standing.
Working Conditions:
100% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment. 0% of time is spent outside of the office visiting project sites.
