We are looking for talented interns to join us for our2022 Summer Internship program at our Corporate offices in San Diego, CA.You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained valuableexperience in renewable energies.

Scope of Job:
This Eboite Battery Storage internship position will work on engineering design of battery storage solutions. Engage in design optimization, system tradeoffs, and value opportunities that meet the defined requirements. Evaluate cost out opportunities and be the change agent to their implementation. Manage sub-system design through analysis, validation testing and implementation planning.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience -
*Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Controls
*Eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship.
*Available for full time hours.


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -
*Ability to learn quickly
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Strong analytical and research skills
*Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and CAD
*Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink a plus

*Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimum supervision
*Entrepreneurial, energetic, and flexible personality with a bias towards action
*Possess strong analytical and research skills
*Able to learn quickly
*Skilled in interpersonal relationships with strong communication skills
*Interested in growing a career in the renewable energy market.

Working Conditions:
95% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment. 5% of time is spent outside of the office at a prototype facility to gather lessons learned and data.

*Couple with engineers supporting similar deliverables for direct application overlap
*Assign small component ownership deliverables
*Define responsibility for specific product cost trade offs
*Create analytical models/analysis/BOM with excel/Ansys/Matlab and report results
*Assign design component ownership with delivery expectation
