Global Manufacturing Trainee (GMT) Program - US

As a Kraft Heinz Global Manufacturing Trainee (GMT), you're hand-selected by our Operations and Manufacturing Executive Leadership team to participate in a 10-month immersive program that will allow you to make a real and genuine contribution from the start to our Manufacturing and Operations teams.

As GMTs, you will learn directly from Kraft Heinz leaders and fully immerse yourself into plant operations within Kraft Heinz. You will have the opportunity to learn about and make an impact across the entire manufacturing function. As a Kraft Heinz Global Manufacturing Trainee, you will be adding value as a full-time employee from day one, doing real work, and delivering real results.

During the 10-month program, GMTs can expect a thorough onboarding experience to learn about Kraft Heinz, our mission, and Kraft Heinz manufacturing model. GMTs will then spend their time in the program working on a project in the plant, obtaining their Lean Six Sigma certification, and completing their continuous improvement project for their Lean Six Sigma certification. Additionally, GMTs will have frequent exposure to our Manufacturing and Operations leaders, including our Head of North America Operations and Global Chief Supply Chain Officer. You will also receive mentorship from previous GMTs, attend social events with your cohort, and have the opportunity to travel to Chicago for Leadership Week in January.

The GMTs will spend their program primarily in one of the following manufacturing plants: Champaign, IL; Newberry, SC; Lowville, NY; Springfield, MO; Davenport, IA; Muscatine, IA; Fremont, OH; Holland, MI; Dover, DE; Garland, TX; Kirksville, SC; Columbia, SC; and upon graduation from the program, will be placed into a Manufacturing position at one of our US plants with an opportunity to immediately take on responsibilities and make an impact.

You should join us at our table if you are:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2022 - June 2023

  • Available to start in July 2023

  • Able and willing to work at one or more of our plant facilities in the US during and following the program

  • Passionate about supply chain, manufacturing, and driving operational excellence

  • A creative and efficient problem solver

  • Able to continuously improve processes and outputs

  • Willing to challenge the status quo

  • Able to simplify the complex and bring others along with you

  • Focused on operating with empathy and care while delivering results
