Why can’t small- and mid-sized business enjoy the same tax breaks as gigantic corporations? That’s the dream that fueled our founder, Julio Gonzalez, when he established Engineered Tax Services (ETS) in 2001.  Julio noticed that Big Business was able to reap big tax breaks as a result of such tax strategies as cost segregation and R&D tax credits. Why couldn’t America’s small businesses—the backbone of the U.S. economy— take advantage of the same benefits? As a result, he offered to mainstream America specialized engineering tax studies that, up to then, had only been available to the Fortune 500 and public companies through the then-Big 8 national accounting firms.
 

Over 20 years later, ETS has been extremely successful in delivering these winning tax solutions to the American middle class, becoming the leading specialty tax practice in the United States. In 2020, ETS established the largest specialty tax and consultative firm to the CPA community nationwide by acquiring The Growth Partnership, a leading advisory group to the CPA community (which also produces The Rosenberg Survey, the benchmark survey of U.S. mid-sized accounting firms) and ABLE CRM, a company that customizes Customer Relationship Management systems for CPA firms so CPAs can make the best use of limited time.
