Must have a JD from an accredited and well-recognized school of law. Ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience with training in private practice and in-house in the upstream oil and gas industry. Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to provide concise, practical advice in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who works effectively with others at all levels and in all disciplines in a team environment and is able to maintain a sense of humor and camaraderie in working with others. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Licensed to practice law in Texas, Colorado or Wyoming. Experience with federal lands and the Bureau of Land Management and work experience in the Powder River Basin, Williston Basin, and the DJ Basin. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have a comprehensive understanding of the law in the area of expertise and advanced proficiency in its interpretation and application. Must be able to handle heavy workload, multiple project responsibilities and continually changing priorities.
Salary Grade Min: $143,500
Salary Grade Max: $246,500
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
