About us: Seacor is a niche shipping line providing logistics services from anywhere in the world into the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands.

About the role: Sales Executives maintain and grow the company's revenue by developing relationships customers. Sales Executives are required to visit new and existing customers weekly in south florida or travel as required to the markets to develop opportunities for growth.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's / Associate's Degree - preferable.

Experience: 3 + years of related experience. Preferred direct Sales Experience in Shipping, Trucking, or Logistics Mgmt.

Languages: Strong verbal and written skills; English fluent, Spanish preferred.

Skills/Software: Proficient with Excel, Word, experience with Shipping systems.

Solid experience in lead qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell and develop company revenue as directed by the VP of Trade.
  • Work closely with overseas Offices and Agents to generate cargo for the company.
  • Weekly reports as required.
  • Encourage team building in the office through cooperation and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Schedule & participate on regular in person visits and video calls with agents, clients, and prospective clients.
  • Warm leads follow up calls to prospects.
  • Cold-Call prospects generated by external lead sources.
  • Quote rates to clients and overseas partners in timely matter.
  • Contact targeted shippers by telephone, email to promote Seacor Island Lines services.
  • Provide pricing & rate quotes.
  • Respond quickly to customer questions on services offered.
  • Travel one or more weeks per month as required.
  • Receive, research, and respond to customers inquiries promptly; offer customer alternative to unresolved concerns.
  • Maintain a full pipeline of opportunities and target achievable accounts while diligently updating the sales reports on activities, leads, and follow ups.
