The Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Counter Narco-terrorism and Global Threats division was assigned the mission of establishing and supporting counter narco-terrorism technology networks, infrastructure, and capabilities worldwide that are focused on the detection, identification, and disruption of narco-terrorist activities and organizations.

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert with policy and program planning expertise at the strategic through tactical levels. This role will provide strategic support in assessing current policies as well as factors that may affect future policy making and how those policies may affect the USSOUTHCOM's mission goals and program objectives.

Responsibilities are but limited to:

  • Provide support to USSOUTHCOM at program reviews, in-process reviews, technical interchange meetings with customers or vendors, and provide technical comments and recommendations in the form of minutes, trip reports, white papers and reports, as required.
  • Assist with providing analysis and responses to a variety of scientific, technical, administrative, and security areas to quickly react to changing program needs. These services require short-term analysis and response.
  • Assist in conducting requirements analyses for new or expanded programs, innovative technologies, etc., and report findings to the Government.

Required:

  • 5-10 years' experience in areas such as counter-narcotics operations, policy development, stabilization strategies, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in relevant languages, understanding of international relations, knowledge of counter-narcotics strategies, familiarity with stabilization policies, and experience working in multinational environments.
  • BS degree in international relations, political science, security studies, or other related fields
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) access with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed
