Job Description

MISSION :

Managing all EDI communications between company and trading partners as well as third-party consolidators in California and Millville.

  • Supporting the order process from order creation to invoicing.
  • Manage and monitor transaction types not limited to 810, 855, 856, 860, 880, 894, 940, and 945.
  • Understanding of shipment paperwork per account and their connection to the electronic data being sent.
  • Control of weekly shipping pattern and awareness of warehouse workflow.

PROFILE:

  • Provide resolution for EDI transaction issues in 810, 855, 856, 860, 880, 894, 940, and 945.
  • Manage EDI reference information such as item catalog, ship-to locations, customer setups, mapping, etc.
  • Ensuring the best service level from receipt of orders for processing, and allocation, to troubleshooting needed after receipt of deliveries to customers, maintaining a high level of confidentiality while developing strong relationships with customers.
  • Tracking past and future orders, updating all the Account Managers, Customers, and Business Planners.
  • Working closely with the inside sales team and sales representatives to understand customer needs, order history, order progress, complaints, pricing changes, and account status.
  • Monitoring the status of orders portfolio and reviewing inventory levels to ensure all backorders are properly fulfilled or allocated for upcoming needs to meet on-time delivery.
  • Help coordinate the company's daily domestic shipping operations ensuring timely deliveries and avoiding cost overruns.
  • Monitoring of all warehouse operations including stock management and operational efficiency.
  • Help analyze operational costs and devise strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interacting daily with the company's customers.

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • EDI transactions experience (preference TrueCommerce experience)
  • Bi-Lingual Proficiency in English/Spanish
  • Professional computer skills with MS Windows and Office applications (Outlook & Excel)
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and pay attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
