The Corporate Document Management Application Support Manager is responsible for directing resources in the management, implementation of minor enhancements, and support of corporate document management applications.

Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and rationalize demand for minor enhancements and assign a relative priority.
  • Ensure requests to application support are valid and sized appropriately before adding items to the backlog.
  • Identify existing resources and allocate them to application maintenance activities.
  • Maintain an inventory of resources, skills and availability and schedule resources for performing minor enhancements.
  • Evaluate performance of committed versus delivered timelines to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Perform feasibility assessment to evaluate requests to determine if requests should become discrete projects.
  • Re-phase demand over time where needed based on view of supply pools and category and priority of demand.
  • Direct effort to provide support to production support service requests and perform routine maintenance and support activities.
  • Assist in providing support to production support service requests.
  • Perform routine application maintenance and support activities to ensure the uninterrupted operation of applications.
  • Manage and direct the activities of a staff of up to five resources.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of CRM systems experience (e.g., implementation, maintenance, etc.).
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Deep skills in managing applications and minor enhancements to the production environment.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Understanding of IT resources and skills needed to fulfill specific tasks / roles.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal business customers.
  • Skills in technologies and operational services (e.g., system administration, production scheduling, etc.).

Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Corporate Document Management Application Support Manager to have the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to50 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
