Your Purpose:

The Sr. Front End Developer is responsible for the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of data sources and their integration to front end applications required for the business.

• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate these standards through code review.
• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to develop features and improvements to Lennar.com in a secure and performant way.
• Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have impact across teams.
• Exert influence on the overall vision and long-term goals of your team.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems at large scale and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience that includes experience with agile methodologies.
• Strong core JavaScript proficiency, including familiarity with one or more frameworks (React preferred).
• Solid grasp of semantic HTML and CSS, familiarity with server-side rendering (Next.js).
• Experience using Git as part of a professional development team.
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough solutions.
• Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process.

Additional Requirements:

• Professional experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions.
• Familiarity with modern front end GraphQL implementation.
• Experience with A/B testing tools and data analytics (Optimizely/mParticle).
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and solutions.
• Familiarity with navigating and maintaining enterprise codebases.
• Experience working with a global and diverse team.

• 3-4 interviews with members of our team

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Sr Front End Developer to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. Travel is required.
