The Weitz Company is currently accepting applications for a Marketing and Communications Intern to be located in West Palm Beach, FL. Candidates with graphic design and multi-media experience are encouraged to apply. An ideal candidate displays:


  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and database entry
  • Ability to edit, design and create new content (including video content)
  • Proactive, creative, attention to detail and independent abilities


What You'll Do Everyday:

  • Complete project sheets, staff resumes and other general marketing content using creative insight and adhering to all brand standards, while achieving marketing goals and maintaining a focus on safety
  • Utilize systems such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva to create graphics, social media posts, proposal content, presentation materials and other requested items
  • Support local office marketing activities such as award submissions, advertising, mailings, promotional items and meeting reports
  • Assist with local public relations activity (i.e. gathering press release content and ideas)
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives alongside other business development, marketing and project team members
  • Assist in the compilation of qualifications, proposals and interviews
  • Support the execution of local project photography
  • Provide administrative support such as setting up for meetings, event and conference planning, filing marketing materials and updating the company CRM database


What We're Looking For:

  • Desired Experience: At least two years' experience in a general business and professional setting; previous marketing/public relations/communications experience is helpful but not required. Due to the nature of our business, architecture, construction management and/or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Candidate must possess leadership, project management, time management, organization, business writing, verbal and written communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Education: High school diploma required; pursuing a college degree in related study preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Adobe Suite (InDesign preferred), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Salesforce experience is a plus.
