CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an ITS Data Analyst II to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Traffic & ITS Team at our Miami, FL office location.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA Consulting, Inc., seeks an ITS Data Analyst II to work remotely or at a client site and report to its Doral, Florida office. The ITS Data Analyst II is responsible for implementing and analyzing complex ITS for the organization and our clients. This role will ensure system issues are identified, appropriately documented, and resolved within the appropriate timeframes.

Specifically, the ITS Data Analyst II will perform the following duties:

    Build statistical models, test hypotheses, interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report on data findings;
  • Perform research on various data sources, to include unstructured data using quantitative and qualitative content analytics;
  • Construct and perform complex database search queries in multiple databases using SQL and API interfaces;
  • Perform web scraping and apply various techniques for processing unstructured data;
  • Leverage automation and machine learning to manage data, predict scenarios and make recommendations;
  • Contribute to building new traffic analytical tools and packages;
  • Leverage emerging technologies including AWS and Git;
  • Employ highly creative solutions to address data analytics challenges, to collect large volumes of data from varying sources, clean and interpret data, create solutions to overcome challenges, and communicate with interested entities; and make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions through awareness of the constantly shifting collections, processing, storage and analytic capabilities and limitations

REQUIREMENTS

The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. A successful candidate must have one (1) year of experience as a software engineer or data analyst, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following:

  • CSS, HTML, .Net and Javascript;
  • Extraction of SQL queries;
  • Creation of APIs; and
  • Working with cross-function teams
SALARY RANGE:

$87,000 - $108,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
