Job Overview

The Lead Brand Promoter assists with the execution of the annual event and retail warehouse appointment setting/lead generation plans for the assigned region or market under the direction of the Customer Acquisition management. This is a boots-on-the-ground position in the field that executes all aspects of shows, events, and retail warehouse appointment setting, including setup and tear-down of displays, assistance with staffing, training, and supervision of Brand Promoter employees and contractors, and representing Marvin Replacement at shows, events, and retail warehouse appointment setting to set leads with prospective homeowner customers. To be successful, this individual must be a local leader, proactive, and be able to coordinate with individuals across the organization to deliver exceptional results.

Highlights of your role
    Set up & tear-down shows and events. Make the necessary logistical arrangements, ensuring that all materials are delivered and installed appropriately.
  • Represent Marvin Replacement at shows, events, and at retail warehouses. Set leads with prospective homeowner customers.
  • Assist Customer Acquisition leadership with the evaluation of marketing performance following shows, events, and retail warehouse efforts, making recommendations for changes and modifications as needed to drive attendees to the Marvin Replacement booth or improve appointment setting performance. Document show, event, and retail warehouse appointment setting activities for internal evaluation purposes.
  • Assist the Customer Acquisition leadership with the annual event calendar planning and budgeting. Build relationships with local retail warehouse leaders.
  • Coordinate schedules and staffing of shows, events, and retail warehouse appointment setting with Brand Ambassadors. Recruit and train Brand Ambassadors, both employees and, as needed, contractors.
  • Requires regular travel to multiple appointment setting locations within the assigned market or region. Valid driver's license with acceptable record of moving violations is required.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Acquisition leadership to deliver targeted KPIs for shows, events, and retail warehouse appointment setting, including customer acquisition cost, labor costs, lead targets, and others as applicable.

Salary Range
$26-$30 per hour plus performance bonuses
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Prior experience coordinating show or event workers in the home improvement industry.
  • Ability to make decisions and take action within their span of control. Have a bias for action.
  • Ability to build strong local networks and relationships
  • Organized and planful

Also want to make sure you have
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
  • Able to push large displays that weigh 75 pounds that are on wheels
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to setup and/or tear down up to two shows per day, which could include over an hour of physical activity.
  • Ability to travel to all assigned shows, events, and retail warehouses within the region.
  • Ability to consistently work all weekends, with few exceptions
  • Ability to commute and work from the assigned office location when not performing work at shows, events, or retail warehouses.
